Me, personally don’t like certain vegetables; for instance broccoli, eggplant and spinach. I don’t care how good they are for you; the thought of some deep fried mountain rat is actually more appealing to me especially considering that it looks like chicken. And yes, it is really rat meat in the picture....

In Cambodia fried spiders are now considered a delicacy since people there started eating them under the tyranny of the Khmer Rouge regime 20 years ago. In some parts of Nigeria dog meat is all the rage for some (according to the BBC). There is a conscious effort to re-popularize whale meat in Japan (much to the horror of nature conservationists). The saying: “one man’s meat is another’s poison” definitely rings true. All I’m saying in terms of unusual aspecks of peoples diet’s that you might be prejudiced against is: don’t knock it till you try it! Comments anyone? What about some crocodile?
