Ideas are more powerful than bullets. They determine our actions, beliefs, how we see ourselves, how we see others and the way we live. Movies like V for vendetta and The Matrix are attempts to showcase the awesome power of ideas. Shared ideas construct our reality. Just think of the blue pill was an analogy of a radical idea. It was planted in Neo like a seed and upon becoming enlightened he was able to unplug his mind from the matrix reach his full potential as “the one”. People that don’t take the time to contemplate productive ideologies, and think issues out for themselves instead of allowing their thoughts to be spoon-fed to themselves by the media are stuck in the matrix; sheep.

We must challenge ourselves to be missionaries for positivity and global socio-consciousness through the ideas that we promote and share with others. An essential part of being a responsible global citizen and an aspeckshead/activist is to propagate conscious dialogue and spread positive ideas, which will have a knock on effect on people’s actions. *Negative ideas can be equally as powerful as positive ones – Think of Mr Smith in the Matrix again; Neo’s adversary; and connect the dots.
